What they’re saying

Our new framework for domestic violence commissioning on the basis of outcomes provides a strong and unequivocal evidence-base for understanding current and future needs, what works and what must be improved. Our findings present a clear challenge to commissioners about the scale of change that is needed in order to meet local needs as well as improve outcomes for the city by working smarter and in a more joined up way. — Linda Beanlands, Community Safety Commissioner, Brighton & Hove City Council

Well-being has become serious business

nef consulting’s very own Nic Marks got a mention in Forbes magazine this week when Chris Anderson, the curator of TED, was asked to make his seven top picks for the year’s best ideas.

We are very excited that businesses and organisations are starting to take notice of well-being. But what does well-being at work look like and how can it be improved? This is the challenge that Nic and nef consulting are working on at the moment with Delivering Happiness in the US.

We are developing the next generation Well-being@Work survey, and are devising an intuitive DIY tool that individuals, teams and organisations can use to accurately identify levels of well-being and, most importantly, set about improving them.

It will be launched in January 2012. If you would like to learn more or share ideas in the meantime, please contact Jody – jody.aked@nef-consulting.co.uk
