Graham is Managing Director of nef consulting, the social enterprise and consultancy arm of nef (the new economics foundation). Previously Graham was a Principal Consultant at LRS Consultancy, with responsibility for LRS's sustainable procurement business. This included the development and delivery of the CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) Sustainable Procurement Review and the delivery of the Mayor of London's Green Procurement Code; a support service for organisations committed to reducing their environmental impact through responsible purchasing.
At LRS, Graham led projects to deliver training to over 500 public sector procurement managers in England and Scotland and support to public sector organisations through the National Sustainable Public Procurement Programme (NSPPP) and the European Pathway to Zero Waste project. Graham was also on the drafting committee for the British Standard for sustainable procurement, BS 8903 and has judged the procurement category of the City of London's Sustainable City Awards for the last five years. and has been trained by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) to deliver the Marrakech Task Force (MTF) international sustainable public procurement programme.
Graham has a Masters degree in Responsibility and Business Practice from the University of Bath and has worked as an international business development manager in the publishing industry in London, New York and The Hague, and a consultant in the not-for profit sector.
